GENERAL PROPERTIES

1) Effect of acids and alkalies

• Good resistance to most mineral acids.
• Dissolves with partial decomposition by concentrated solutions of sulfuric acid.
• Good resistance to weak alkalis and moderate resistance to strong alkalies at room temperature disintegrates by strong alkalies at boil.
• Excellent resistance to bleaches and other oxidizing agents.

2) Resistance to Mildew, Aging, Sunlight, Abrasion

• Excellent resistance to mildew, aging and abrasion. Prolonged exposure to sunlight causes some strength loss.

3) Dispersion

• Easily dispersed in aqueous and non-aqueous systems. Surface treatment to aid dispersion applied as required.
